Biggie’s ‘Life After Death’ marks 25 years – celebrated through a special box-set.
The Notorious BIG returns to the realm of the music industry a quarter-century later. The estate of the GRAMMY® nominated artist and a true pioneer of gangsta rap, announced a ‘Super Deluxe 25th Anniversary Box Set’ with collaborations from Bad Boy Records, Rhino and Atlantic records for the critically acclaimed rap record, Life After Death, which is set to launch worldwide on the 10th of June, 2022. A worldwide, year-long promotional campaign is taking place to celebrate Biggie’s legacy of mafioso tales, infused with cleverly written pop-style melodies.
The box set consists of 8 LPs from Biggie (that includes early demos and bonus tracks for the records), a photo book featuring never seen before album cover photos and exclusive reflections in the form of notes and comments by the team that helped shape the album, Life After Death.
The new instalment can be seen, heard and experienced as a revival of Biggie’s music to a new generation that could not witness his colossal success in his prime. Blockbuster hits, such as “Hypnotize”, “Ni–as Bleed” & “Ten Crack Commandments” contribute to making the album diamond certified – 10 million copies sold in the US alone, now set to climb the Billboard charts once again.
